Whirlpool Max 35 Silver

"My new house has a fairly small kitchen, with the only available space for my microwave being a corner. My old microwave is pretty bulky and didn't fit, so I'd been looking for a compact corner microwave, and eventually settled on the Whirlpool Max 35, largely due to the positive customer reviews. It is very well constructed, and due to the rounded back shape, fits snugly into the corner of your kitchen without wasting space or sticking out. Actual capacity is only 13 litres, but this appears to be the same as a regular 20 litre microwave - this model just doesn't feature the same wasted space of the rear corners. Inside it comfortably fits my larger plates, and the fact that the controls are located at the base of the microwave means it takes up less width than a typical right hand controls microwave. I've had the Max 35 for a few months now, and it has been a welcome addition to my kitchen - it works flawlessly, is easy to operate and clean, and takes up the minimum of space. The Max 35's built in steam function is also quite handy - giving you a healthy alternative to regular microwave cooking. If you've got a small kitchen and need a corner microwave, then this won't let you down. It may cost a bit, but the quality is excellent, and so far has proved to be very reliable." "I've got a Whirlpool washing machine, which has always been pretty reliable - so when my old microwave stopped working, I thought I'd try and Whirlpool microwave - the MAX 35 was about the right size - I didn't realise until after I bought it that it has a curved back panel, and so is ideal for corners. This particular model is a neutral silver, but think it comes in a variety of colours so you should be able to find one to suit your kitchen. It heats up food fast, and works a lot better than the model it replaced - no uncooked or cold areas. The bright blue LED display is simple to read - my eyesight isn't amazing, but I still found this model easy to use. Overall I'm pretty impressed - like my Whirlpool washing machine, it does the job, with no faults or problems. "My aunt has one of these, and it seemed a lot easier to use than my old microwave. It measures approximately 36cm width, height and depth, and so is fairly compact for a microwave - and the curved back means it can be placed deep into a corner without protruding too far. The buttons are well labelled in white text, and although I am used to operating my aunt's model, I doubt anyone will need to consult the manual too much, as it's all fairly straight forward. It heats up dishes pretty rapidly, perhaps due to it's compact volume, and it also looks pretty smart too. The moving parts feel well built, and so far it's worked brilliantly. 5 stars from me!"
