Looks great, works well, reliable, and easy to clean. Mind you don't block the vents.

Our Fagor SPOUT7BO Microwave Review

The Fagor Spoutnik microwave range  are pretty unique looking - rather than a traditional rectangular shape, they feature a rounded dome shape, and function as standalone microwaves.

The Fagor SPOUT7BO Spoutnik features an unusual blue colour scheme, 4 power levels, a 28cm turntable and a digital display. Finished in a choice of quirky colours (The Blue Fagor Spoutnik, Green Fagor Spoutnik and the Purple Fagor Spoutnik), they certainly stand out from the norm.

The blue translucent dome lid enables you to view the food from all angles whilst it's cooking, thus making it easy to avoid overcooking.

Four different power levels are included, and feature a high setting, a medium setting, defrost and reheat.

This model is a solo microwave, and so does not feature a grill or oven setting.

Due to the rounded shape, it takes up a lot less room than a standard microwave, and thus is suitable for those with smaller kitchens.

One small issue with the Fagor SPOUT7BO is the fact that a lot of heat comes out of the vents - and so you will need to make sure these are not covered up as it may cause the device to overheat.

Asides from that we loved it. Overall it looks great, and works well, easy to clean and efficient. If you want a funky microwave that just works, then the Fagor Spoutnik range is worth taking a look at.

Our Verdict for the Fagor SPOUT7BO

The SPOUT7BO is an unusual blue microwave - it works well, feels well built, and is reliable.  If the design appeals to you, then you've got no reason not to buy one.

  1. Sheila Humphrey

Please can you tell me if the spoutnick microwave comes with a black lid?i really like it as i have a small kitchen but don’t want a bright pink/green or blue one.
    Many thanks.

    1. We Love Microwaves (Website Admin)

      Hi Sheila

As far as we’re aware the Spoutnik microwave was not available in a black colour scheme – only a dark blue. We have a good selection of Black Microwaves listed on our website, including the Whirlpool Max 38 which may suit your needs instead.

      Hope this helps :)
